Protect your skin from the sun!

The sun refreshes the mind, nature, and the skin and body need it to produce vitamin D. However, the sun also has many adverse effects.

The skin should be protected regardless of the season with a product that has both UVA and UVB protection. This prevents burning of the skin, premature aging of the skin and cell changes that may be caused by the sun.

Physical filters reflect UV rays away from the skin, while chemical filters convert UV rays into heat on the skin. Only physical filters are always used with children.

How should the sun protection product be used?

A generous layer of sunscreen should be added every hour. Protect your skin with clothing and headgear and avoid direct sunlight. Sunscreen should be applied to the skin 30 minutes before exposure to the sun. Always apply more product after swimming, sweating and towel drying.

Sunscreen should also be used in winter. This is the best way to prevent skin aging.

What kind of sunscreen should it be?

The sunscreen product must contain both a UVA and a UVB filter.

The UVA filter causes skin tanning and skin aging. The UVB filter causes the skin to burn. The protective product should have both.

Some sunscreen products may also have IR protection, which protects the skin from infrared rays. Janssen Cosmetics' Face Guard Advanced - sun protection concentrate contains all of these, in addition to frost protection, which also protects skin cells from temperature fluctuations.

Does the sun protection product prevent tanning?

Tanning is the skin's way of protecting itself from the sun. Usually, the skin gets a tan after a few hours in the sun, which, however, fades almost faster than it has arrived. This is a tan stuck to the outermost surface layer of the skin.

A genuine, long-lasting tan is created in the melanocyte cells in the lowest layers of the skin. When the melanocyte cells come to the surface of the skin, the tan also appears. Sunscreen therefore does not prevent the skin from tanning, but the tan comes slowly and safely.

However, you can get the best and safest tan from a can!
